Here are some ideas you may want to consider to see how safe an area is:
- Call the Raleigh Police Department or other area law enforcement They will usually give you the information you need.
- Another source to use in addition to the call is this Crime Map. It can give you an idea of what neighborhoods have had crime problems.
- Talk with neighbors.
- Notice if neighbors are out and about walking and playing. That’s a sign of a safe engaged neighborhood
